Q:    My uncle says that all of Eddy Arnold's records were number one's.  Is that true?

A:     Between 1945 and 1999 - Eddy Arnold placed 146 songs on the country music charts – but only 27 of those made it to number one

TODAY IN 1946: Eddy Arnold had his 3rd charted song. "That's How Much I Love You"  (a song he co-wrote with Wally Fowler)  came on the country music charts October 12th, 1946 and peaked at number 2 where it stayed for four weeks. The flip side "Chained To A Memory" also charted and made it to number 3.
