QUESTION:    Do you have information concerning Ricky Skaggs performing for homeless shelters? My mom heard about it on the radio.

 

 

ANSWER:        Ricky Skaggs is scheduled to perform a concert October 4^th at Princeton Pike Church of God in West Chester Township in southwest Ohio.  The concert will benefit Middletown's Hope House, an emergency shelter for men and women.

TODAY IN 1982:  Ricky Skaggs had his 5^th charted song and his second number one. His remake of the old Webb Pierce hit song, "I Don't Care" came on the country charts May 29^th, 1982, made it to the top and was on the charts for 18 weeks.
