COUNTRY MUSIC CLASSICS
Q & A
Tuesday May 1st, 2012
QUESTION: I have heard that George Jones is back in the hospital, out of the hospital and then back again. Do you have any updated information on his condition?
ANSWER: At last report, George was recuperating from an upper respiratory infection and resting at his Franklin, Tennessee home. Doctors ordered George to cancel all concert dates thru May 20th, including a nine day Canadian tour.

THIS WEEK IN 1962: George Jones had his 28th charted song and his 3rd number one. "She Thinks I Still Care" entered the country music charts April 14th, 1962, made it to number one and stuck there for six weeks. It was on the charts for 23 weeks.

"Q & A" is a by-product of our weekly "Country Music Classics" newsletter. NO - it does NOT replace the weekly newsletter--it is simply an addition--due to the large number of questions received each week that I do not have room for in the weekly newsletter. Subscribers receive BOTH the weekly newsletter and the daily Q & A---because I do not maintain two separate mailing lists. If you wish to unsubscribe- send a blank email to:

IF YOU DO UNSUBSCRIBE....YOU WILL BE UNSUBSCRIBING FROM BOTH THE WEEKLY "COUNTRY MUSIC CLASSICS" AND THE DAILY "Q & A."
