QUESTION:   I heard just part of the announcement that the Oak Ridge Boys were performing The National Anthem at a concert. Do you know where and when?

 

ANSWER:     The Oak Ridge Boys will deliver the National Anthem as part of the Nightly Concerts at LP Field during the CMA Music Festival on Friday, June 8^th.

THIS WEEK IN 1981: The Oak Ridge Boys had their 15^th charted song and their 4^th number one. "Elvira" entered the country music charts April 4^th, 1981 and was on the charts for 14 weeks It also scored a # 5 on the pop charts. The MCA single was also the CMA Single Of  The Year.
