The highly anticipated 14-track album landed Monday (10/25), and the liner notes include a disclaimer. "P.S. To all the boys, who inspired this album, you should've known ;)." While Swift isn't naming names, capital letters in the lyrics spell out specific clues. "A lot of these songs are about waiting until it's too late to say how you feel," Swift says. "That may not be what the song is about, but it's what the song is. [In the lyrics] there are all these confessions almost like open letters or entries from a journal." The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, People and others are feverishly unlocking Swift's secrets with speculation about Taylor Lautner ("Back To December") and John Mayer ("Dear John") first and foremost. But the anticipation of becoming the Grand Ole Opry's newest member had him tossing and turning in advance of Saturday's (10/23) induction. "Last night I was laying in a hotel room at 4am (evidence here), and I finally figured out the best way to describe what it feels like to perform the Opry," Shelton said during his induction speech. "This is the ultimate stage ... and [when I] stand in this circle, I get the same feeling [of awe] as when I meet one of my heroes. To me, the Grand Ole Opry is an artist, and I'm very proud to be one of its songs." The halftime concert will kick off the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign. Guests including the Del McCoury Band supported Bentley each night in small venues across the city. "This entire year has been about following my heart musically," Bentley says. "Getting the opportunity to be in New York in the Fall, playing with my friends [is] a really cool way to take everything we've done this year and pick it apart and focus on each different element of the music for an entire night." "These songs are made up of words I didn't say when the moment was right in front of me," Swift writes in the liner notes. "Each is written with a specific person in mind telling them what I meant to tell them in person." While she won't reveal who each song is about, seemingly random uppercase letters in the lyrics offer clues. The Target exclusive Deluxe Edition features additional tracks "Ours," "If This Was A Movie," "Super Man" as well as acoustic versions of "Back To December," "Haunted" and "Mine." The lead single's music video and a behind-the-scenes feature about the piece are also included. Swift co-produced with Nathan Chapman, who also has producer credits on Swift's self-titled debut and Fearless.
