No. 2 Ole Miss
QB Trinidad Chambliss delivered the win of the weekend, carrying the Rebels past former coach Lane Kiffin and LSU. The celebration can't last long, though. Ole Miss heads to Florida on Saturday, and the last time the Rebels played in Gainesville off a big win, an upset loss knocked them out of the 2024 CFP.
No. 11 Louisville
Nobody has stopped the Cardinals' offense since quarterback Lincoln Kienholz found his footing midway through the opener against Ole Miss. The defense is still a work in progress, as SMU showed Saturday, but Louisville's path to the playoff looks unusually clean. Miami, the team most likely to block an ACC title, isn't even on the schedule.
