QUESTION:   I have heard that Charlie Daniels is now blind. Is that true?

 

 

ANSWER:      Charlie Daniels has reportedly been dealing with failing eyesight due to cataracts, but recently underwent a revolutionary new "Smart Eye Surgery," which is supposed to restore his sight.

Today in 1986:  The Charlie Daniels Band had their 19^th hit song, "Drinkin' My Baby Goodbye" made the charts March 22^nd, 1986 and peaked at # 8. It was on the charts for 22 weeks.
