Q: I recently watched a Ronnie Reno interview with Glenn Sutton on RFD-TV, which was very interesting. Is Sutton still writing songs and did he do any recording?
A: In addition to receiving a total of 27 BMI awards, including Producer of the Year, Glenn Sutton also received a BMI million-airs award for 1 million performances of "Almost Persuaded," which he co-wrote with Billy Sherrill. And he placed three songs on the country charts - as a recording artist - from 1979 thru 1986. Glenn Sutton died in 2007.
