QUESTION: Do you have any information concerning a movie about the life of June Carter Cash? My daughter said it was mentioned on TV.
ANSWER: "Ring Of Fire" is a Lifetime network movie based on June's son John Carter Cash's book, "Anchored In Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash." Jewel is playing the lead role. The movie's air date has not yet been announced.

THIS WEEK IN 1967: John and June Carter Cash's Columbia Records single "Long-Legged Guitar Pickin' Man" was in the country music top ten. The single came on the charts June 24th, 1967 and peaked at # 6. It was on the charts for 17 weeks.
