QUESTION:     I heard on the radio that Vince Gill is now doing western swing music. Will he be recording any of that?

 

 

 

ANSWER:        Vince Gill's eleven member hobby band, ""The Time Jumpers," (which includes Riders In The Sky' Doug Green),is working on their first album of Western Swing music for Rounder Records. The project is scheduled for September 11th release.

THIS WEEK IN 1985:  Vince Gill had his 5th charted song. His "If It Weren't For Him" duet with Rosanne Cash, came on the charts July 13th, 1985 and peaked at # 10. The RCA Victor single was on the charts for 18 weeks.
