                  Q  &  A

April 3rd,  2012

QUESTION:    One of my co-workers was talking about something that Reba McEntire was involved in with a food company in a "feed the hungry" project. Do you know what that is about?

ANSWER:       General Mills and Big Machine Label Group's roster of country music artists is teaming up with Feeding America to Outnumber Hunger in a national project to help fight hunger in local communities. With this, specially marked packages  of General Mills products will feature an Outnumber Hunger code, as well as  favorite Big Machine Label Group artists. Entering the code at OutnumberHunger.com helps Feeding America secure five meals on behalf of  a local food bank. Reba McEntire and Martina McBride are among the artists who are encouraging participation.

THIS DAY IN 1979: Reba McEntire was on the way to her 5th charted song. "Runaway Heart" entered the country music charts April 21st, 1979 and peaked at # 36. It was on the charts for ten weeks.

"Q & A" is a by-product of our weekly "Country Music Classics" newsletter. NO - it does NOT replace the weekly newsletter--it is simply an addition--due to the large number of questions received each week that I do not have room for in the weekly newsletter. Subscribers receive BOTH the weekly newsletter and the daily Q & A---because I do not maintain two separate mailing lists.  If you wish to unsubscribe- send a blank email to:

IF YOU DO UNSUBSCRIBE....YOU WILL BE UNSUBSCRIBING FROM BOTH THE WEEKLY "COUNTRY MUSIC CLASSICS" AND THE DAILY "Q & A."
