QUESTION:   I have heard there is a movie about the life of Charlie Louvin. Do you have any information?

ANSWER:    "Charlie Louvin: Still Rattlin' The Devil's Cage" a 46 minute documentary, recently premiered at The Nashville Film Festival. The film follows the career of Charlie Louvin from the days of The Louvin Brothers until his death, plus video clips, family photos and documents that convey the brothers' significance in country music history.

THIS WEEK IN 1968:  Charlie Louvin had his 11th charted song (as a single recording act) with "Will You Visit Me On Sunday?" The Capitol records single entered the country music charts March 9th, 1968 and peaked at # 20. It was on the charts for 14 weeks.

"Q & A" is a by-product of our weekly "Country Music Classics" newsletter. NO - it does NOT replace the weekly newsletter--it is simply an addition--due to the large number of questions received each week that I do not have room for in the weekly newsletter. Subscribers receive BOTH the weekly newsletter and the daily Q & A---because I do not maintain two separate mailing lists.  If you wish to unsubscribe- send a blank email to:

IF YOU DO UNSUBSCRIBE....YOU WILL BE UNSUBSCRIBING FROM BOTH THE WEEKLY "COUNTRY MUSIC CLASSICS" AND THE DAILY "Q & A."
