QUESTION:   I heard on the radio that a new Waylon Jennings album is being released. I thought all his songs had already been released. Do you have any information?

ANSWER:     Waylon wrote eleven of the tunes on "Goin' Down Rockin,"  a twelve song disc to be released September 11th on Saguaro Road Records. All cuts were originally recorded with just Waylon's guitar and vocal and bass man Robby Turner, who reportedly finished the tracks, as per Waylon's instructions.

THIS WEEK IN 1967: Waylon Jennings had his 7th charted song. "Mental Revenge" made the charts April 1st, 1967 and peaked at # 12. The RCA Victor single was on the charts for 16 weeks.
