For example, you could make great money freelance writing, creating articles, blog posts, reports, and more for clients. You could teach and get paid by the hour to help someone gain a new skill. Or you could even help entrepreneurs as a virtual assistant, supporting them with scheduling, customer support, and more. All of these are great ways to have a portable income … BUT… Here's what all these ways to make a portable income have in common: Almost all of the ways out there to create a side income for yourself involve an even trade of your time in exchange for money. Whether you decide to do freelance writing… teaching English or another skill (like playing guitar)… You're trading your time for money. But what happens when you decide you want some well-deserved time off? Or what if you get sick and can't work? Or what if you want to take a spur-of-the-moment road trip? As soon as you stop working, the money stops rolling in. |
