Unlock the Secret to a Sharp Mind with a Sprinkle of Fun and a Dose of Health Magic

Scroll down for Today's Recipe: Dark Mocha Pudding

I hope this message finds you radiant and ready to conquer the world – one crossword puzzle and laughter-filled conversation at a time! Let's settle in for a little heart-to-heart about something crucial, yet often overlooked – our brain health. Think of this as a coffee chat with a side of wisdom (and maybe a slice of pie!).

Now, before you think I'm about to unleash a dreary health lecture, let me assure you, this is as far from dull as our adventurous spirits. I've come across some eye-opening research about early-onset dementia, and it turns out, we're holding more cards in this game than we thought!

Imagine this: A group of smarty-pants researchers analyzed data from around 356,000 people (that's a lot of birthday parties!) and discovered some nifty ways we can sidestep dementia before hitting the big 6-5. It's like finding a secret shortcut in our daily walk – exciting and empowering!

Here's the lowdown on keeping our brains as sprightly as our dance moves:

1. Vitamin D is our bestie. A lack of it can lead to brain fog, so let's bask in some sunshine or pop a supplement. It's like giving our brains a little vitamin hug.

2. Strength in our hands is a big deal. A firm grip is more than just impressive – it's a sign of brain health. Who knew our handshakes were so telling?

3. Our ears need love, too. Hearing issues can affect our brain, so let's not skip those hearing tests. We need to hear every note of our favorite tunes, right?

4. Friendship is brain food. Loneliness can lead to brain decline, so let's keep up our social butterfly status. More coffee dates, please!

5. Heart health and sugar control are key. Heart disease and diabetes are like uninvited guests at our health party, so let's keep them in check.

6. A happy heart is a happy brain. Depression is a significant factor, so let's promise to lift each other up when the going gets tough.

Now, for the grand finale – a doctor-formulated supplement that's up for grabs for free! That's right, free as a bird!

This supplement is like your brain's personal cheerleader, supporting all the fantastic things you're already doing for your health. It's the extra sprinkle of magic in your health routine.

Recipe of the Day: Dark Mocha Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Organic Coconut Milk

  • 1/2 cup Coconut Cream

  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/3 rounded cup Xylitol

  • 2 large Egg Yolks

  • 1 teaspoon dry Coffee (Instant Powder)

  • 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 1 tablespoons Unsalted Butter

  • 1 tablespoons SANE Cocoa Powder

  • 2 ounces Sugar Free Chocolate Chips

Directions
  1. Place 1 3/4 cups of the coconut milk in a sauce pan with the coconut cream, salt and xylitol.  Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. While the milk is heating, whisk the egg yolks with the remaining 1/4 cup coconut milk and instant coffee.  Once the milk mixture is hot pour a steady stream in the egg yolks while whisking to temper them.

  3. Once all the milk has been incorporated pour the mixture back into the sauce pan over medium heat.  While it is heating back up, quickly whisk together the SANE cocoa powder and xanthan gum in a small bowl then whisk it into the milk and egg mixture.  Cook and stir pudding continuously to be sure the egg does not curdle.

  4. Cook until it begins to thicken (mixture will still be slightly runny); about 2-3 minutes.  Do not allow pudding to boil.  Take off the heat once thickened; about 3-5 minutes.

  5. Melt the chocolate with the butter in small bowl in a microwave at 30 second intervals.  Do not overheat.  Stir to blend and then scrape into the hot pudding stirring to blend completely.  Remove from heat.

  6. Cool quickly over an ice water bath; place plastic wrap on the surface to prevent a skin from forming.

  7. Once cooled place in the refrigerator to continue cooling or immediately dish into serving bowls, top with coconut cream if desired and serve.
