Q:    I know that Elvis Presley had the big hit on "Heartbreak Hotel," but my mom says several other singers also had hits on that song.

Is that true?

A:     Roger Miller scored a number 55 on "Heartbreak Hotel" in 1966.  Willie Nelson and Leon Russell had a number one on the song in 1979. Those were the only other two charted versions - besides Presley's number one in 1956.
