QUESTION:    Do you have information concerning Willie Nelson and a Railroad Tour? It was on the TV Entertainment News.

 

 

 

ANSWER:      Willie Nelson has signed on as part of this year's Railroad Revival Tour, which begins October 20^th in Duluth, Ga. and runs thru October 28^th in Oakland, California. Willie joins Jamey Johnson, Band of Horses and actor-musician John Reilly and friends, who will travel on vintage 1940 railcars and will perform in open-air, popup concert venues in parks, fields and lots around the railroad tracks at each stop. According to a tour spokesman, "The Railroad Revival Tour glorifies the historical romance between music and trains under the setting of the great American landscape."

THIS WEEK IN 1975:  Willie Nelson had his 28^th charted song. "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain" entered the country charts July 19^th, 1975, made it to number one and stuck there for two weeks. The Columbia single was on the charts for 18 weeks and also scored  a # 21 on the pop charts.
