He might be making a name for himself in Hollywood, but Tim McGraw is a true Tennessean. So the decision he and wife Faith Hill made to host next week's (6/22) celebrity-packed Nashville Rising benefit for flood victims was easy. As was the recruiting. "All we've done is ask people, and all our friends, to a person, jumped right in," McGraw says. "People outside of this industry - movie stars - are making videos and sending them in to show on the screen between acts. I can't believe how quickly and how well it's come together. And my band and crew [are] putting in a lot of work."

"I had seen so many performers develop eating disorders or try to control their weight with drugs, and I decided I would do no harm to my body," she says. John Mayer and Keith Urban will meet at the Crossroads - the CMT Crossroads, that is - Friday (6/18) when the episode premieres at 8pm ET. "I find a great common ground with John as we play because we have very different music styles that we were influenced by," Urban says. "I like the language of guitar players. I like it when they speak through playing, and I think that's why I like collaborating with different people because it's different conversations." The two guitar slingers traded licks on Urban's "Tonight I Wanna Cry," "Til Summer Comes Around" and "Sweet Thing," as well as Mayer's "Gravity," "Say" and "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room." They closed the show with George Michael's "Faith" for Taylor Swift, who was in the audience.
Sweet Home Alabama - The Country Music Tribute To Lynyrd Skynyrd features covers from Eric Church, Shooter Jennings, Jamey Johnson, Uncle Kracker, Randy Montana, Ashley Ray and the Eli Young Band. Houser's "Simple Man," Church's "The Ballad Of Curtis Loew" and Ray's "Sweet Home Alabama" can all be heard on the album, which will be available at Wal-Mart June 20.

Rocky Comfort's Tracy Lawrence and a local Nashville radio station have issued a $1,000 reward to anyone with information surrounding the theft or whereabouts of his English bulldog Tank. The dog was taken from Lawrence's truck Tuesday (6/15) at approximately 8:30pm while parked at a Walgreens in Mt. Juliet, TN. "Tank was my Father's Day present two years ago," Lawrence says. "He's not only a member of our family, but [also] a part of our road crew. We'd sure like to have him back home with us, and appreciate your help." Regrettably, Tank had just been bathed and was not wearing his collar or ID.
