At the Critical Bench office we have a 6,000 square foot gym where the team and coaches train.
And every Wednesday Jenn teaches a yoga class there for anyone on the team who wants to join.
For a while I just kept hearing people talk about it after class.
"That was tougher than it looks."
"My core is smoked."
"That didn't feel like normal yoga."
So eventually I figured I should stop hearing about it and actually try it.
I took the class with Jenn. And honestly, I liked it a lot.
It starts like a traditional yoga session with breathing and mobility, but as the class moves along you start feeling your muscles working in a different way.
Your core stays engaged.
Your legs and glutes are working.
You're moving with control the whole time.
You leave the session feeling stretched out, but also like you actually trained something.
After taking the class, I set up a podcast conversation with Jenn so she could explain what she's doing during those Wednesday sessions and why people keep coming back to it.
In the episode we talk about:
• Why a lot of people lose muscle tone as they get older
• Why stretching alone isn't enough
• What she focuses on in those Wednesday classes
• And why the movements feel different from a typical yoga class
If you want to hear Jenn explain it herself, you can listen to the podcast here.

What started as a weekly class inside the Critical Bench Compound & Office turned into something much bigger.
I'll explain more later today.
