Happy Friday, Bestie!

Before show season really kicks into high gear, I wanted to squeeze in one last adventure, so I am writing from Las Vegas today. I've never been to the Hoover Dam, so that's high on my list, and I'm also planning to stop by the Bellagio Conservatory to soak in all the color and artistry they're known for. And yes… I'm absolutely going to the Sphere to experience The Wizard of Oz. I've heard it's incredible and I'm pretty excited to see what that looks like in that space.

Back at the shop, the All Texas Shop Hop kicked off this past Sunday, and wow, the energy has been amazing. Thank you to everyone who has already stopped in! It has been so much fun welcoming you to Linda's, hearing about the shops you've visited, and seeing the excitement as people start their Shop Hop journeys. If you live in Texas and haven't grabbed your Shop Hop magazine yet, we still have copies available in the store. Pick one up and jump in. It's a great way to explore some fantastic quilt shops across the state.

On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of visiting the McKinney Modern Quilt Guild, where I got to showcase the QISS system. What a great group of quilters. I always enjoy getting to share tools and techniques that help make quilting smoother and more enjoyable. I'll share a photo once I get one from the meeting because the energy in that room was fantastic.

And speaking of events, I'm excited to share that I'll be teaching at the new Fiber + Fabric Craft Festival this year. We'll also have a Linda's booth at the show. If you're planning to attend and would like to help out at the booth, we're looking for a few volunteers. In exchange, you'll receive store credit and free entry to the show. If that sounds like fun, let me know. We'd love to have you as part of the team.

That's it for this week. Between travel, Shop Hop excitement, and gearing up for the upcoming shows, things are definitely staying busy around here. I hope you're finding a little time to sew this week, and maybe even finishing a project or two.
