Hey there, Growing up in Rhode Island and now living in Maine, I've always noticed this particular type of cotton sweater. You see it everywhere – on farmers at the market, stylish moms having lunch at Small's in Portland's West End, all kinds of people wear it. The Shelter Sweater is our version of that East Coast classic. It's 100% combed cotton, the kind that gets softer every time you wash it but never loses its shape. I wanted something you could throw on for coffee runs or school drop off or wear to dinner without thinking twice. What I love most is how versatile cotton sweaters are. You can wear one for years and it's made to last through heavy rotation. The fit is relaxed but not sloppy. It feels easy and comfortable, no matter how you're feeling. Living here has taught me that the best clothes are the ones you don't have to think about. They just work, season after season, wear after wear. The Shelter Sweater is exactly that.
