  Pandora Prevails In ASCAP Rate Court Case
The New York ASCAP rate court has come down in favor of Pandora in a ruling that says the performance right organization's blanket license has to include all of its repertoire. That means all the music by publishers who have pulled their digital rights from ASCAP--i.e., Sony/ATV, EMI, Universal Music Group, and BMG--will be licensed to Pandora through ASCAP and that their separate deals are not in effect until the digital radio platform's' license ends on Dec, 31, 2015.
