QUESTION:   I remember hearing Waylon Jennings sing the  song, "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town" on the radio several years ago. Haven't heard it since and can't find the recording anywhere. Do you have any information?

 

ANSWZER:   "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town" was a track in Waylon's 1967 album titled, "Love Of The Common People."

THIS WEEK IN 1975: Waylon Jennings had his 34th charted song. "Dreaming My Dreams With You" entered the country music charts May 3rd, 1975 and peaked at # 10. It was on the charts for 14 weeks.
