  Patriot,On December 23rd, a friend received an unexpected call. It was Tom Homan, President Trump's Border Czar, who has hit the ground running as he undertakes the boldest initiative of the Trump Agenda – securing our borders and keeping Americans safe from criminal illegals. The call was disturbing. Tom was asking for help. Immediate help. Faced with a very credible threat, Tom was left with no protection by the outgoing Biden Administration. Joe Biden left the man and his family to the wolves . . . KNOWING truly evil forces were planning to kill him. That's a whole other story. The next call was to me about how we could put together and fund a security detail overnight. With my organization, American Liberty Fund, which promotes President Trump's policies, keeping Tom Homan safe was right in line with our mission. It was a no-brainer. The next step was finding the men to man the detail. Within our community is a small group of veterans, and as soon as the call went out to protect Tom, seven men volunteered their time and safety over the next month to keep Tom Homan safe. Leading the protection detail was a Navy SEAL who immediately quit his job, kissed his family goodbye, and stayed by Mr. Homan's side for a month. Our professional SEAL worked with a team of seasoned veterans who may be older than they were during their uniformed days, but rest assured, they are more experienced, mean as hell, and didn't give AF about anything other than keeping Tom safe. Over a dozen trips were racked up that month, crisscrossing the nation. An advance team would fly out first, followed by Tom and the rest of the detail. Another team was left to protect Tom's family, working with local law enforcement (who we were wildly grateful for their vigilance). When the government is footing the bill, a detail like this will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars a month. Thanks to the men who volunteered their time and did a lot of penny-pinching, we kept our expenses to the bare minimum. However, we could use your help to cover the remaining reimbursements and, hopefully, give the guys a little something for their time and dedication. For background, the team included:
All team members had significant Personal Security Detail (experience): one was a specialized tracker, another was a retired LEO, and one had executive extraction experience. They were no slouches, but I'll admit, these guys were not your buttoned-up Secret Service detail. They were big and bearded, and when they walked through a crowded corridor, their presence made the way clear. During that month, Tom was safe and felt safe and was able to prepare in peace for his extraordinary role. On January 20th, our Navy SEAL delivered Mr. Homan to President Trump's inauguration and handed him over to a government-funded security team. Our mission was accomplished, but a few costs remain. So please donate whatever you can to help pay the remaining out-of-pocket expenses and, if you're able, give a little extra to say "thanks" to the seven men who gave up their jobs and their personal safety to keep Tom Homan safe. While I'm not free to discuss specifics related to the threat against Tom Homan, you can probably put two-and-two together. The threat was an organized plot, vetted by law enforcement sources, and BLATANTLY disregarded by Joe Biden and his administration. I remain infuriated that an American citizen was left with no protection under those circumstances, regardless of who he is. It was a foul move by Joe Biden, and I thank God for the men who didn't even pause in their decision to keep Tom safe. They're a testament to what America is about and deserve our gratitude.
