Kash Patel, Trump's nominee for FBI Director, just told-off every pro-DEI Democrat in the country during an address at Capital One Arena during the inauguration on Monday.  “My parents were born and raised in east-Africa,” Patel explained to the crowd. “They moved here, they waited in line. They stood in line because the American dream was worth standing in line for.” He emphasized his personal success story, stating, "I am living the American dream. I'm not here because of the color of my skin, I'm standing here because I have earned my right on this stage." President Donald Trump plans to issue pardons for individuals convicted of nonviolent offenses related to the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot and commute the sentences of those with more serious charges, sources told CNN. The executive action is expected to be signed Monday, focusing on over 730 people convicted of misdemeanors and about 300 with pending prosecutions. Trump's move aims to dismiss ongoing cases and could end probation early for some. This action aligns with his campaign promise to offer "major pardons" for January 6 defendants, despite opposition from federal judges who argue it undermines justice. The Justice Department, under Trump, is also expected to seek dismissals in court for cases yet to be tried.
