QUESTION:     The TV people mentioned Dolly Parton having something to do with a movie made on a cell phone. Do you know what that is about?

 

 

 

ANSWER:         Dolly Parton will contribute four original songs to the independent film "Olive," the first film shot entirely on a cell phone. "Olive" is the story of a little girl who changes the lives of three people, without ever saying a word.

THIS WEEK IN 1951:   Lefty Frizzell had his 6th charted song.  "Always Late (With Your Kisses)" came on the charts August 4th, 1951, made it to number one and stuck there for 12 weeks. The Columbia single was on the charts for 28 weeks and was his 4th number one.
