But it has certainly not been an easy road to the top, as Miranda explains. She was a favorite with critics, but had to wait for real commercial success. That happened with her breakout single, “White Liar,” from her Revolution album. “I never even had a Top 5 before ‘White Liar.’ So, that was the song that pushed me to this next level,” she says.
